Model of the Atom
You are probably familiar with protons, neutrons,
and electrons. Now notice the smaller particles within the
protons and neutrons, they are quarks.
If this picture were drawn to scale given by the protons and neutrons,
then the quarks and electrons would be less than a diameter of a hair
in size and the entire atom's diameter would be greater than the length
of 30 football fields!!
Also remember that all the particles are constantly in motion.
